Oh how I wish that I had holidays like Clarke and the rest of the Griswalds when I was younger.

Nope, I went to Tenby and watched my Dad walk about in his vest and speedo’s . Of course that was years ago, and such an act will get you arrested by the police now. The speedo’s I mean, not going to Tenby. Tenby is a lovely place. And it’s owned by Tom Jones. Ask him if you don’t believe me.

I love that film, I loved the lampoon franchise like no other. And to own such an awesome replica would fill another piece of my jigsaw life.

This is a replica of the Ford station wagon that was used in the film Lampoons vacation.

This is being offered by Barrett-jackson auction house. This re-creation is based on the car in the movie “National Lampoon’s Vacation,” starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo. It’s powered by a 5.0-liter 8-cylinder engine and an automatic transmission with 4 speeds. The classic Green on the outside (we all know it’s metallic pea really) with walnut trim and the beige on the interior.

Who wouldn’t want to go cross country in this bad boy!!
