The board itself is made from cold cast porcelain with metal attachments and plexiglass. And measures 46cm in length, 46cm in width, and is 23cm deep. It also weighs a huge 11kg. so this is not light and a sign that this is really well made. and also a sign not to drop it on your foot.

Underneath the plexiglass, playing surface is a detailed raised map of middle -earth. and all the characters are expertly sculpted and have been given the seal of approval by the cast members of the film for their likeness.
